About

Summer Dog Cart Tour. Come and experience a dry land dog cart tour with our Siberian Huskies and visit our un-chained Siberian Husky Kennel at our farm Vallholt, between Akureyri and  Lake Mývatn, North Iceland.

Two guest and a Musher from Snow Dogs share a cart pulled by 9-14 Siberian Husky dogs. Your dogs will pull you on a trail of 3-5 km in our beautiful and remote area of Iceland.  Note that the trail is a little bit bumpy.

Your Musher will explain to you the basics of dog sledding and how to work with these amazing dogs. Especially how to train and work with them in the summer conditions. The run will take about 25 minutes and then afterwards you will go into the kennel and meet the dogs and of course give them a cuddle. So total time of visit is approximately 1.5 hours with the kennel visit.

There will be opportunities to take pictures of our dogs! This is a unique opportunity to see the summer training process for our sled dogs.
